Salary: £40,000 - 70,000 per year
Requirements: Commercial experience in a software-development role, ideally with 2 - 3+ years experience.Strong C# and .NET development skills.Experience building and maintaining web applications across both front end and back end.Front-end development experience with Angular, or another modern JavaScript/TypeScript framework such as React or Vue.Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript.Experience working with relational databases and data-driven applications.Understanding of source control, code review and modern development practices.Exposure to the wider software-development lifecycle, including testing, releases and production support.Ability to troubleshoot issues methodically and produce clean, maintainable code.Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.A proactive mindset, with the willingness to learn, ask questions and take ownership.Experience with recent versions of .NET.Entity Framework or comparable ORM experience.Azure exposure, including cloud-hosted applications, deployment pipelines or related services.Experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform.Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps practices and automated testing.Experience working in Agile teams using two-week sprints.An interest in AI-assisted development tools and how they can be used responsibly to improve developer productivity and quality.Experience contributing to technical documentation, development standards or process improvements. Responsibilities: Design, build, test and maintain full-stack web applications.Develop back-end services and APIs using C# and .NET.Build and enhance responsive front-end functionality using Angular and TypeScript.Work across both new product development and enhancements to established applications.Collaborate with colleagues to understand requirements and deliver practical, maintainable solutions.Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement and development catch-ups.Carry out code reviews and contribute to high standards of code quality, security and maintainability.Work closely with QA colleagues to support effective manual and automated testing practices.Support releases, deployments and the ongoing improvement of development and DevOps processes.Investigate and resolve technical issues across the application stack.Contribute to technical documentation, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.Develop an understanding of the products, users and commercial objectives behind the technology.
