Salary: £60,000 - 80,000 per year
Requirements: 3+ years of professional software development experienceA strong academic background, ideally with a 1st or 2:1 degree, or a PhD, in a numerate disciplineStrong academic results, including A-level Maths and PhysicsExperience developing and maintaining complex, real-world software systemsStrong understanding of clear, efficient software designGood verbal and written communication skillsExperience with Linux systems, including configuration and administrationExperience with some of the following: C/C++, Python and/or MATLAB, HTML/JavaScript and GUI development, Git and/or SubversionEligibility to undergo UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearanceHold a valid British passportHave been resident in the UK for the past 10 years, subject to the applicable clearance requirements Responsibilities: Work independently on our own projects while also supporting, mentoring and leading junior developersDevelop novel signal and image processing applicationsDevelop secure Cross Domain SolutionsBuild user interfaces using Java or HTML/JavaScriptSupport and train customers in the use of our softwareMentor and lead other developers Technologies: GitSupportJavaJavaScriptLinuxMatlabPythonSecurity More:
We are a software team based in Guildford, Surrey, working on challenging and innovative projects across software development, signal processing, image processing and secure systems. This is a permanent, full-time, fully office-based role in our Guildford office, where we work five days a week.
