Job summary
This role will provide best practice guidance and education to a wide range of stakeholders involved in the Vaccination Outreach Service, supporting safe and effective delivery and helping underserved communities make informed decisions about vaccination. Working closely with VCSE partners, you will help develop culturally appropriate resources, build trusted long-term relationships and support the development of community champions.
You will play an important role in maximising opportunities to reach and engage underserved populations, while working as part of the wider service team. Please note that this post does not hold clinical governance responsibility for the service, which remains with each vaccination delivery partner organisation.
This role will be employed by One Care but seconded into our partner organisation, Sirona Care & Health.

Main duties of the job
Develop and deliver a needs-based programme of vaccination best practice training and education for general practice, Sirona, VCSE organisations and underserved communities.
Work with the Vaccination Outreach Service Manager and wider team to ensure activity is aligned with the services strategic goals and can flex in response to changing demand.
Monitor milestones, KPIs and deliverables, helping to keep plans on track and identifying risks, issues and mitigations early.
Build strong relationships with internal teams, external partners and system stakeholders, supporting effective communication, collaboration and shared problem-solving.
Participate in service meetings, workshops and steering groups, contributing to progress, quality assurance and continuous improvement.
Produce clear reports, dashboards and narrative updates for senior leaders and stakeholders, evaluating outcomes against KPIs and strategic objectives.
Support change management through training, workshops and communications that help new approaches become embedded and sustainable.
Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails, ensuring service activity complies with relevant legislation, policies and standards.

Role title
Community & Partner Educator Vaccination Outreach
Location(s)
The post will be based at Osprey Court in South Bristol but there may be a requirement to work across the Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) area.
We have a hybrid working policy which requires staff to work a minimum of 2 days in the office, within general practice or at locations of our system partners.Additional office and / or community based days will be required for at least the first 6 months whilst the service is being established.
This role will be employed by One Care but seconded to Sirona.
Job Purpose
To provide best practice guidance and education to a range of stakeholders involved in the Vaccination Outreach Service - to support best practice awareness across clinical delivery and to support uptake of vaccinations across underserved populations, through enabling them to make better informed decisions in regards to vaccination.
To work with the VCSE to develop culturally appropriate resources, build long term relationships and develop community champions.
To support the service as a whole to ensure that opportunities to reach and engage underserved populations are maximised.

Key responsibilities
Service delivery
Use a structured approach to develop and deliver a needs based schedule of training in regards to vaccination best practice and vaccination education to: general practice, Sirona, VCSE organisations and under served populations.
Work with the Vaccination Outreach Service Manager to ensure alignment of delivery with strategic goals of the service.
Work within a team effectively, sharing work where appropriate, flexing capacity to respond to surge requirements of the service.
Monitor service milestones, KPIs, and deliverables, adjusting plans as needed to maintain momentum.
Proactively identify risks and issues, maintaining a risk register and implementing mitigation strategies.
Ensure quality assurance processes are embedded throughout the service lifecycle.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and involved.
Participate in service meetings, workshops, and steering groups to drive progress and resolve challenges.
Build strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and system stakeholders.
Reporting and Evaluation
Produce high-quality reports for senior leadership and stakeholders, including dashboards and narrative summaries.
Evaluate service outcomes against KPIs and strategic objectives.
Lead post-service reviews and lessons learned exercises to inform future initiatives.
Change Management
Design and implement change management strategies to support adoption and sustainability.
Deliver training, workshops, and communications to support users and stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential
Experience of working with a wider range of stakeholders to understand need
Experience of designing and delivering training packages to a diverse group of stakeholders
Robust and up to date understanding of vaccination delivery best practice in an outreach setting
Experience of working with the VCSE sector
A working knowledge of underserved populations and some of the barriers to engagement with health care services
At least 2 years demonstrable experience managing services from initiation to closure
Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including senior leaders, clinicians, and external partners
Strong track record in risk management, resource planning, and performance monitoring
Experience using service management software and tools
Desirable
Recognised service management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, AgilePM, APM)
Experience in budget management and financial reporting
