POSITION SUMMARY
The Treasury Manager will work with the Assistant Treasurer to help manages Vertiv’s debt portfolio, credit revolving facilities, and various exposure risk management / hedging programs. The Treasury Manager will also work seamlessly with the broader team support Treasury efforts globally.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with Assistant Treasurer on foreign exchange and commodities hedging strategy and execution.
Manage execution of foreign exchange and commodities trades and capital markets transactions.
Develop, enhance, and standardize Treasury processes, striving for best practices and/or controls where possible.
Leverage prior experience to build out framework, design and execution of reporting strategies and processes.
Research and present recommendations to executive management and regional leaders in a clear, data-driven way.
Support Treasury due diligence for M&A activities, which include funding strategies and integration. Build on existing processes for integrating acquisitions or divestitures.
Work closely with accounting, tax, legal and other key stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting, control, and regulatory and lender compliance.
Supports the maintenance and utilization of credit facilities to ensure appropriate access to liquidity for operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance or directly related field.
At least 8 years of progressive treasury or corporate finance experience.
Proficiency with Excel, Outlook, and online bank systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in finance or Business preferred.
Prior experience with capital markets transactions and FX hedging preferred.
Solid analytical and quantitative skills and exceptional written and verbal communication skills are mandatory.
Demonstrated success and proven ability to multi-task, adhere to strict guidelines, work well with others, and complete tasks with discretion, accuracy and attention to detail in a fast paced and demanding work environment.
Ability to independently manage complex, cross-functional projects with significant business impact.
Experience serving as a subject matter expert and technical resource within a treasury function.
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in finance or directly related field.
Master’s degree in finance or Business preferred.
Licensed CTP preferred (Certified Treasury Professional).
