Key Responsibilities Strategy implementation
• Implement the Infrastructure & Energy portfolio strategy in alignment with the Bank's overall corporate and business objectives. • Deliver agreed revenue, profitability, balance sheet, customer acquisition, and growth targets. • Drive the acquisition of new Infrastructure & Energy clients and identify opportunities for sustainable portfolio expansion. • Develop a deep understanding of clients, industry trends, and the broader economic environment to support strategic decision-making and business development. Sales and business growth
• Execute business development initiatives and client strategies to grow revenues, fees, and market share. • Collaborate with product, sector, and business teams to deliver integrated financial solutions. • Drive cross-selling and upselling of the Bank's products and services across the portfolio. • Manage pricing, profitability, and portfolio returns while maintaining a healthy balance between asset growth and income generation. • Improve customer experience and non-financial performance metrics, including customer acquisition, segmentation, and satisfaction. Relationship Management
• Build, maintain, and deepen strategic relationships with key clients and stakeholders. • Deliver exceptional and consistent customer service to drive loyalty, retention, and long-term value. • Engage senior client decision-makers to identify opportunities and provide tailored financial solutions that support their business objectives. Account monitoring
• Monitor daily referrals to ensure that client facilities are managed within the parameters set by the Bank
• Exercising discretion regarding account conduct based on a close knowledge and understanding of client activities
Risk Management
• Maintain portfolio quality within approved risk appetite, including NPL and PAR thresholds. • Strengthen risk management, controls, governance, and business continuity processes within the portfolio. • Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements, Bank policies, and operational procedures. • Conduct regular portfolio reviews and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks and safeguard asset quality. Education and Experience
• A University Degree from a recognized institution. • At least Five (5) years’ experience in the Financial/banking sector, • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Corporate Relationship Management within Infrastructure, Construction, Engineering and Energy sectors. • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Credit and Financial Analysis • At least 5 years’ experience in Client Portfolio Management • Knowledge of Trade and Transaction Banking products • Deep understanding of Infrastructure & Energy value chains • Deep sector knowledge of Infrastructure & Energy Sectors including emerging trends, threats and opportunities. • Digital Savvy and Computer literacy • Entrepreneurial and Commercial thinking • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. • Integrity & courage to challenge actions within various business units and the status quo.
