Main duties of the job The Waking Night Support Worker role at Enable involves providing overnight care to a young adult with complex needs in Sturminster Newton. The role is exclusively for female applicants as per the Equality Act 2010 requirements. The responsibilities include 1:1 support, ensuring the individual's safety and independence both at home and in the community, and maintaining well-being through routine and consistent care. The working hours range from 3pm-10pm for day shifts and 10pm-9:30am for waking night shifts. Flexibility in shift timings is possible. The support worker will perform comprehensive personal care, food preparation, and follow detailed care plans. Although experience with learning disabilities is beneficial, it is not mandatory because comprehensive training is provided.

Qualifications Essential
A calm, patient, and observant approach with a reassuring presence to build trust. Ability to adhere strictly to routine and care plans. Experience with learning disabilities is advantageous, but complete training will be given.
