About this role

Job summary

The All Age Continuing Care Administrator provides key administrative support to the All Age Continuing Care team, working under the direction of the Administrative Manager. The role helps coordinate processes for NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC) and Children and Young People's Continuing Care (CYPCC), ensuring timely and wellorganised support for the service.Responsibilities include managing referrals and case records, preparingdocumentation, supporting meetings and maintaining clear communication with families/advocates, system partners and care providers. The postholder ensures accurate data management and compliance with information governance requirements, contributing to efficient service delivery and a positive experience forstakeholders.

Main duties of the job

The Assistant (Band 4) provides essential administrative and operational support to the delivery of programmes and services within the Integrated Care Board (ICB). Working under the management of a Senior Assistant, Officer, or Manager, the postholder ensures that day-to-day activities are carried out accurately, efficiently, and to a high standard and in line with organisational policies and procedures.This role supports the smooth running of services by undertaking a range of administrative, coordination, and data-related tasks, contributing to effective team performance and service delivery. Some tasks may be non-routine.

Person Specification

Qualifications Essential

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent experience) in Business Administration or similar Relevant qualification or equivalent experience in administration, health, social care, or a related field.

Knowledge Essential

Experience providing administrative and coordination support for services, projects, or teams. Experience working collaboratively with colleagues and partners to support shared objectives. Ability to manage routine and non -routine tasks and meet agreed deadlines.

Skills Essential

Good communication and interpersonal skills to work confidently with colleagues and stakeholders. Strong organisational skills to plan and prioritise day-to-day tasks effectively. Competent in using standard digital tools (e.g., MS Office) for administration and coordination.
