About this role

Job summary

We are looking for an experienced Bank Recruitment Advisor to join our busy Recruitment Team and provide efficient, high-quality recruitment support across the Trust.

The successful candidate will have previous recruitment experience, ideally within an NHS environment, and will have prior working knowledge of Trac and ESR. You will support the recruitment process from vacancy progression through to pre-employment checks and onboarding, ensuring candidate records are accurate and recruitment activity is progressed in a timely manner.

You will be organised, proactive and able to manage a busy workload while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You will also be confident communicating with candidates, recruiting managers and colleagues across the Trust.

The role will operate in line with the Trust's hybrid working model, with an expectation to work 3 days onsite per week and the remaining days remotely. Flexibility will be required to meet the needs of the service.

Main duties of the job

Supporting the end-to-end recruitment process for Bank workers. Processing recruitment activity through Trac and maintaining accurate records on ESR and other relevant systems. Supporting vacancy advertising, shortlisting and interview arrangements. Issuing conditional offers and progressing candidates through pre-employment checks. Completing and monitoring checks including Right to Work, ID, DBS, Occupational Health, references and professional registration where applicable. Responding to candidate and recruiting manager queries in a timely and professional manner. Monitoring recruitment pipelines and proactively chasing outstanding information or documentation. Maintaining accurate recruitment trackers and ensuring records are kept up to date. Liaising with Staff Bank, Payroll, ESR, Occupational Health and other internal teams as required. Supporting recruitment campaigns and high-volume recruitment activity. Ensuring recruitment activity is completed in line with Trust policies, procedures and NHS Employment Check Standards. Escalating complex recruitment or compliance queries to senior members of the Recruitment Team where appropriate.

Education / Qualifications Essential

Educated to a diploma level or equivalent experience A range of HR / Administrative courses or equivalent experience

Experience Essential

Experience working within a recruitment, HR, or customer- focused administrative environment. Experience supporting end-to- end processes requiring accuracy, compliance, and timely follow-up Experience advising managers or stakeholders within defined procedures or frameworks. Experience using electronic recruitment or HR systems to maintain accurate records and track activity. Experience supporting pre- employment checks or compliance-related processes

Knowledge Essential

Working knowledge of ESR and TRAC systems. Knowledge of end-to-end recruitment processes. Knowledge of NHS Employment Check Standards

Skills/ Abilities Essential

Ability to organise and prioritise a varied workload, managing multiple recruitment cases and meeting agreed deadlines and service standards. Ability to proactively follow up actions, resolve queries, and progress recruitment activity to avoid unnecessary delay. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-based operating model and contribute to cross- cover and shared workload management. Ability to use recruitment dashboards or tracking tools to monitor progress and identify emerging risks.
