The job <strong>Help international clients navigate Polish HR and employee relations challenges</strong><br>For our HR Services team, we're looking for an experienced Polish HR professional with strong administrational and strategic HR knowledge including work unions, who can quickly step into international client organisations and provide hands-on HR support where extra capacity, complex employee relations expertise or local employment law knowledge is needed.<br>As an Interim HR Consultant, you will work directly for clients on temporary HR assignments with a strong focus on Poland. You support the employee lifecycle, advise managers on sensitive HR matters and take ownership of employee relations cases, including grievances, disciplinary processes and Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs).<br><br><strong>What will you do?</strong><ul><li>Deliver interim HR support to international clients with employees in Poland;</li><li>Take ownership of operational HR activities and employee lifecycle processes;</li><li>Support managers and employees with day-to-day HR matters and Polish employment law considerations;</li><li>Manage complex employee relations cases, including grievances, disciplinary processes, performance management and PIPs;</li><li>Advise managers on performance management, from goal-setting through to formal underperformance procedures;</li><li>Handle sensitive employee situations, such as extended sick leave, workplace conflict or contested performance issues, with discretion, legal soundness and fairness;</li><li>Assist with HR projects, documentation, policies and process improvements;</li><li>Manage multiple client assignments and priorities simultaneously; </li><li>Collaborate with Parakar's local HR and labour law specialists whenever country-specific expertise is required.</li></ul> This is your job if <ul><li>You have 4+ years of experience in a Polish HR environment, for example as an HR Business Partner, HR Manager, HR Consultant or similar;</li><li>You have a strong working knowledge of Polish employment law, including knowledge on administrative, and strategic HR and work unions;</li><li>You have proven experience managing employee relations cases end-to-end, not only advising but also leading the process;</li><li>You have practical experience running Performance Improvement Plans and performance management cycles;</li><li>You can advise managers who are not HR-trained with clarity, confidence and sound judgement;</li><li>You have strong documentation discipline and understands the importance of a clear, defensible paper trail;</li><li>You are comfortable working independently on interim assignments, with the judgment to know when to escalate or consult local specialists;</li><li>You have excellent stakeholder management skills; you'll often be advising managers who are not HR-trained, under time pressure;</li><li>You are based in Poland;</li><li>You are fluent in English;</li><li>You are fluent in Polish (C1/C2 - Native)</li></ul> Our offer <strong>Assignment details:</strong><ul><li>Expected workload approximately 10 hours per week (with potential for expansion);</li><li>Duration: to be determined but minimum 6 months; </li><li>Freelance/interim assignment starting end September/beginning of October;</li><li>Hourly rate: approximately €45-€80 per hour depending on experience;</li><li>Remote/international working environment;</li><li>Temporary assignment supporting international clients with Polish HR and employee relations expertise.</li></ul><strong>Why this assignment?</strong><br>You'll join an ambitious international team and support clients across Europe with practical HR solutions.
