About this role
We are looking for a Country Finance Specialist to support accounting and reporting activities for Egypt, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. This role will play a key part in maintaining strong financial controls, supporting month-end and year-end processes, and partnering with local and global stakeholders to deliver high-quality financial information. Key Responsibilities
• Execute accounting and reporting activities in line with company policies and accounting standards. • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. • Prepare, review, and reconcile financial records and balance sheet accounts. • Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax requirements, and internal controls. • Support financial reporting, audits, and statutory requirements. • Monitor accounting transactions and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. • Collaborate with shared service teams and business stakeholders to ensure accurate financial data. • Drive process improvements and standardization initiatives to enhance efficiency and controls. What We Are Looking For
• Experience in accounting, financial reporting, audit, or finance operations. • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and local regulatory requirements. • Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting processes. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. • Proficiency in ERP systems and financial reporting tools is an advantage.
