With services including an investment scheme, an award-winning shop, tutored tastings, and a wine school we provide the closest link between those who make the wine and those who drink it.
The London Wine and Spirits Shops are a critical part of the company. They play a significant role in BB&R’s financial success whilst also providing a space for us to welcome customers to the brand and to introduce them to all the products and services we offer.
This role will support the London Wine and Spirits shop teams and as a part of providing excellent customer service, you will need to demonstrate a good knowledge and enthusiasm for wines & spirits, as well as ensuring the effective day to day operations of the shop.
Who you will work with
All Berry Bros. & Rudd Employees particularly Operations (London Cellar Team, Logistics), Customer Services, Buying, Marketing, Account Managers, Berry Bros. & Rudd customers, occasionally suppliers/producers.
What you will do
Present a very high level of customer service in line with the standards set out by company policy, advising on, and selling, the full range of BB&R products and services to customers in person, by telephone and through written correspondence including e-mailEnsure the shop and displays (including stock levels), Enomatic wine tasting machines, fridges, cupboards, Fine Wine & Spirit Reserve are maintained properly and kept clean and tidyOrganise tastings for customers where necessaryImplement and participate in shop and company sales/marketing campaigns as directed (including tasting and other shop events)Liaise with the Cellars, Warehouse and Despatch teams regarding the distribution of shop stock and deliveriesHandle transactions, process payments and participate in cashing-up/till reconciliationBe mindful of shop security (fraud, theft)
What you will bring to the role
Previous experience of delivering and maintaining an outstanding level of customer service and offering customers an unforgettable retail experienceThe ability to foster and develop customer relationshipsExperience in effectively dealing with stock replenishment

Qualifications
WSET Level 3 or equivalent would be an advantage
