Job SummaryYou will serve as a SUPERVISORY PLANNER & ESTIMATOR in the MAINTENANCE REPAIR OVERHAUL (MRO) PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT, PRODUCTION LINES DIVISION of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.

Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time. Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the job elements and screen out listed below. This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: ABILITY TO LEAD OR SUPERVISE 1. Performing at the journey-level in at least one of the following aviation trade designator: Aircraft Electronics, Sheetmetal Mechanic, Aircraft Engine Mechanic, Machinist, Electronics Mechanic and Aircraft Mechanic. 2. Planning and scheduling work accordingly, based on the employee's ability and capability to maximize efficiency. 3. Providing technical assistance and guidance in order to resolve work related problems. 4. Establishing plans, policies, methods and procedures for all elements to establish quality and quantity of work produced. 5. Identifying the proper rework, repair, overhaul, manufacturing procedures and work schedules used in processing aircraft, engines and aircraft components in order to evaluate candidates. 6. Reorganizing labor, tooling and equipment to balance the workload and maximize command priorities. Major DutiesYou will provide input to the Division Director for the annual budget and determine Branch long term and short-term staffing requirements in accordance with fluctuating workloads.You will understand and solve problems.You will act as the Depot resident expert and spokesperson for ISR Planning and Evaluation issues.
