About this role
Cheese factory operator As a cheese dairy operator, you are responsible for draining, pressing, and brining high-quality specialty cheeses. In addition, you are also responsible for making our dairy products, such as yogurt and quark. The role is therefore very diverse! You will be taught the cheese-making process by our best cheesemakers. The duties of a drainer involve ensuring that the curd is prepared for pressing into cheese (this is done by hand). You ensure that the cheeses are placed in the cheese vats and that the cheeses are turned. Additionally, you assist with cleaning equipment and machines and are responsible for a hygienic working environment. We ask • You have completed at least an MBO level 3 education • You are available 36-40 hours, on weekdays, but also on weekends and during the evenings (working days are normally from Monday to Friday and working hours vary across 4 shifts, NO NIGHT SHIFT) • You are attentive, accurate, flexible, and stress-resistant • You speak and write fluent Dutch (English is a plus) • Knowledge of the food industry • You are proactive, quality-conscious, and have an independent work attitude We offer • A 36-40 hour work week with varying working hours (shifts) • An inspiring and dynamic work environment • Room for personal initiative • No-nonsense culture • An enthusiastic team of colleagues • Training opportunities Brasserie Open 7 days a week Every day from 09:00 to 18:00 Parties possible outside opening hours Our store Mon to Thu 09.00 - 18.00 Friday 09.00 - 21.00 Saturday 09.00 - 18.00 Sunday 10:00 - 18:00
