Salary: £65,000 - 105,000 per year
Requirements: We are seeking highly motivated engineers with at least 5 years of Java experience.You should have excellent attention to detail and be able to write clear, concise and maintainable code.You should have a strong understanding of delivering robust, scalable systems.You should have a proven track record of engineering excellence.Experience with AWS and Postgres is highly desirable.We do not require experience in all of our listed tech stack, but familiarity with Java, AWS, GCP, distributed service-based architecture, Kubernetes (EKS), TeamCity, Terraform and Grafana is a plus. Responsibilities: We build and maintain the systems responsible for our payment integrations.We ensure system stability and accuracy.We integrate with third-party systems that power instant, scheduled and cross-border payments.We deliver new features, improved reliability and mandated changes.We own our integrations with Faster Payments, BACS and SWIFT connectivity.We help ensure that customer payments are handled properly.We work across teams and contribute to mission-critical services.
