Introduction Sentence We’re looking for a full-time (38.5 hours) Sales Team Manager (m/f/d) Cruise for our corporate headquarters in Hamburg’s HafenCity! Your new job includes As a Sales Team Manager (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the financial success of the shops you oversee aboard the cruise ships where Gebrüder Heinemann Retail operates. Through your regular presence on the ships, you will ensure that our sales targets are met, service and quality standards are upheld, and the sales teams receive optimal support. In particular, you will Actively manage the sales performance of the shops you oversee and, together with the shop managers, develop and implement measures to achieve the defined sales targets As the central onshore point of contact (m/f/d), you will mentor and coach the shop managers and sales teams on board and provide support with operational and sales-related issues Analyze sales, inventory, and sales metrics; identify opportunities for optimization; and derive appropriate measures Plan sales budgets for the ships under your supervision, set targets, and ensure sustainable achievement of those targets Plan and track sales-promoting campaigns and customized sales strategies, taking into account the itinerary, guest volume, and target audiences Take responsibility for inventory on the ships you manage, identify inventory risks early on, and counteract them through targeted sales and merchandise measures Be responsible for conducting inventory counts on board and ensure their successful implementation and the quality of the results Collaborate closely with the Head of Sales and actively contribute to the further development of the sales strategy ensure compliance with defined on-board processes and foster ongoing communication with shop managers and supervisors Serve as the central point of contact for customers and the shipping company, and prepare for and participate in business reviews Plan and manage the delivery of goods to ships when acting as a substitute, and ensure optimal product availability Preferred Profile Several years of leadership experience in retail, travel retail, or a comparable service environment A strong focus on sales and revenue, as well as experience in managing sales metrics Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and the ability to successfully lead teams remotely A high degree of personal responsibility, organizational skills, and a solution-oriented mindset Ideally, experience in the cruise industry or an international retail environment (not required) Knowledge in the areas of fashion, accessories, beauty, and/or luxury goods is a plus Proficiency in MS Office and SAP Very good written and spoken German and English Willingness to travel and enjoyment of being regularly present on board our ships Closure Interested?
