About this role

Job Description: Support the Section Head in overseeing daily IQA operations, identifying operational gaps, quality risks, and areas requiring attention. Lead Engineers and Inspectors in incoming inspection activities, workload planning, technical direction, and problem-solving. Ensure incoming materials and components meet engineering drawings, specifications, ICP, standards, and applicable requirements. Review and improve inspection methods, sampling plans, measurement techniques, ICPs, and work instructions. Provide technical oversight of First Article Inspection, Form-Fit-Function checks, and onsite/source inspections where required. Lead investigation and resolution of incoming quality issues, including SNCA (Spare Non-conformances Action) through root cause analysis and corrective actions. Analyse incoming rejection trends, supplier defects, inspection findings, customer returns, and warehouse issues to identify recurring quality risks. Drive improvements to incoming inspection processes, inspection TAT, quality controls, and inspection effectiveness. Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and advanced Excel analytics to monitor IQA performance, inspection workload, TAT, rejection trends, SNCA, and supplier quality. Apply AI, automation, and digital technologies to improve incoming inspection, data analysis, reporting, and quality decision-making. Provide technical coaching to Engineers and Inspectors and promote consistent inspection practices. Prepare quality reports and recommendations for management and escalate significant quality risks or recurring issues. Support internal and regulatory audits and ensure timely closure of quality findings. Prepare quality analysis and management reports, highlighting key incoming quality trends, risks, and recommended actions. Job Requirements Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Science, Manufacturing, Quality, or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Incoming Quality, Quality Assurance, Supplier Quality, or Manufacturing. Strong knowledge of incoming inspection, engineering drawings, ICP, FAI, measurement, sampling, and non-conformance management. Experience in supplier quality, root cause analysis, and corrective actions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Power BI and advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting. Experience or strong interest in applying AI, automation, or digital technologies to quality processes. Good communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills. Able to work independently, lead quality improvement activities, and guide Engineers and Inspectors. Possess Class 3 driving licence is preferred. Willing to travel for supplier/site inspections when required.
