Job Req ID: 22656 We are seeking an experienced Procurement Project Lead to drive procurement and supply chain activities for key programmes and projects. The incumbent will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies, manage supplier performance, mitigate supply chain risks, and ensure successful project execution from development through production. The role requires a strong blend of procurement expertise, project management capability, stakeholder engagement, and commercial acumen to support business growth and delivery objectives. Key Responsibilities Project Procurement Leadership Lead procurement activities for assigned projects and programmes. Develop and execute project procurement plans to support programme schedules and deliverables. Act as the primary procurement interface between project teams and suppliers. Drive procurement readiness to support project milestones and production requirements. Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management Develop and implement sourcing strategies to achieve cost, quality, delivery, and risk objectives. Lead supplier selection, contract negotiations, and commercial discussions. Establish and maintain strategic supplier relationships. Monitor and improve supplier performance. Stakeholder Management Collaborate closely with Engineering, Programme Management, Operations, Quality, and Finance teams. Support project teams in resolving procurement and supply chain issues. Provide procurement recommendations to support business and programme decisions. Risk & Commercial Management Identify and mitigate supply chain risks that may impact project delivery. Manage critical procurement issues and supplier escalations. Drive cost optimization, value engineering, and productivity initiatives. Support budget planning and cost management activities. Governance & Compliance Ensure compliance with procurement policies, processes, and governance requirements. Maintain proper sourcing documentation and contract records. Support internal and external audits when required. Requirements Education Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business, Engineering, or related discipline. Experience Minimum 8 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or programme management. Proven experience managing procurement activities in complex engineering, manufacturing, defence, transportation, or technology environments. Strong track record in supplier management, contract negotiation, and project execution. Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and managing multiple stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
