Your Role: Every business relationship depends on trust — and in this role, you will be at the heart of maintaining it. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist focused on Credit and Collections, you will manage a dynamic customer portfolio for the North America region, driving timely collections, resolving disputes, and ensuring the financial health of the business. You will serve as the key point of contact for customers with outstanding balances, working collaboratively across finance, sales, and operations to resolve queries, reduce aged debt, and deliver against agreed service levels. Your ability to analyse payment trends, forecast collections, and build strong stakeholder relationships will directly contribute to the accuracy and efficiency of the accounts receivable function. This is an opportunity to bring your financial expertise to a role where your work has a clear and measurable impact on business performance. Who You Are:
• You bring a solid foundation in accounts receivable or credit and collections, combined with a proactive and detail-oriented approach to managing complex customer portfolios. • You hold a degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field, or bring equivalent professional experience in a comparable role. • You have 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in accounts receivable, credit control, or collections, ideally within a shared services or global business services environment. • You are comfortable managing a high-volume customer portfolio, handling 25 or more customer interactions per day with professionalism and accuracy. • You have experience resolving disputes, managing deductions, and overseeing cash application processes with accuracy and attention to detail. • You are skilled at analysing customer payment trends and using data to forecast collections and support month-end reporting. • You communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders, including finance, sales, and distribution teams, to resolve issues and maintain strong business relationships. • You are proficient in accounting or enterprise resource planning systems and are comfortable working with large data sets to monitor portfolio performance against agreed service levels and key performance indicators. • You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, and are able to engage confidently with North America-based customers and stakeholders.
