About this role
Accountant will manages financial records, ensures regulatory compliance, and oversees month-end close processes for medical groups, hospitals, or health plans.Key Responsibilities
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statements following U.S. GAAP and statutory guidelines. Healthcare Compliance: Assist with regulatory reports required by health plans and agencies like the Department of Managed Health Care. • Month-End Close: Lead close processes, perform variance and flux analyses, and resolve discrepancies. • Audit Support: Coordinate internal and external financial audits and compile necessary schedules. Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. • Experience: 3 to 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a healthcare, managed care, or multi-entity environment Must be able to work Hawaii Hours (HST) Weekly Pay Contract to hire position Occasional trips to Hawaii may be necessaryWell-Established national healthcare provider companyJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Honolulu, HI. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $46.00 - $50.00/hr.
