Job Title: Inventory SpecialistJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Inventory Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, logistics, shipping/receiving, or supply chain roles. A solid understanding of inventory management principles and the lifecycle of inventory is essential. Experience with inventory management systems or ERP software, such as NetSuite, is preferred. The candidate should have strong attention to detail, accurate data entry and record-keeping skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and strong problem-solving abilities. Responsibilities • Track inventory levels and maintain accurate records. • Manage inventory transactions and ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counting and reconciliation. • Process incoming and outgoing shipments, coordinate deliveries, and maintain proper documentation. • Support warehouse operations by understanding inventory flow, storage procedures, material handling, and best practices. • Enter orders, coordinate with operations teams, and support timely shipment of products. • Utilize Microsoft Excel for spreadsheets, inventory reports, data entry, and basic analysis to support inventory decisions. Essential Skills • 1-2 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, logistics, shipping/receiving, or supply chain roles. • Understanding of inventory management principles and the inventory lifecycle. • Experience with inventory management systems or ERP software (NetSuite preferred). • Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry and record-keeping skills. • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and strong problem-solving abilities. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience with data entry, inventory management, forklift operation, and warehouse inventory. • Experience using NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or other inventory management software. • Understanding of material handling, shipping & receiving, and inventory control. Work EnvironmentThe work environment is primarily office-based, providing an opportunity for growth within the company. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Knoxville, TN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.85/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
