The Accounting Office Manager ensures accurate financial records, supports human resources activities, and provides administrative support to keep the office running smoothly. This position suits a professional who enjoys working in a close-knit, family-style environment and contributing to both operational and financial success.Responsibilities
• Oversee general office administration to ensure efficient daily operations. • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including processing vendor and customer transactions. • Prepare and process invoices accurately and in a timely manner. • Handle job costing activities to support accurate project and cost tracking. • Write and process checks in accordance with company procedures and internal controls. • Assist with basic financial reporting to support leadership with timely and accurate financial information. • Perform job entry into the ERP system, ensuring data accuracy and completeness. • Check, verify, and post purchase orders (POs) into the system. • Handle bank deposits, including preparing, verifying, and recording deposit transactions. • Communicate with credit managers and other financial stakeholders regarding accounts and payments. • Provide administrative support such as answering phones, ordering office supplies, and greeting visitors. • Support basic human resources functions, including clerical HR tasks and employee-related documentation. • Perform data entry and clerical work to maintain organized and up-to-date records. • Collaborate with team members across the shop and office to support smooth operations. • Maintain a professional, welcoming, and customer-focused office environment. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oregon City, OR. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
