Job Title: PRP FacilitatorJob DescriptionThe PRP Facilitator administers the Problem Resolution Plan (PRP) process and ensures that manufacturing issues are accurately documented, assigned, tracked, and resolved through a structured workflow. This role serves as the central coordinator for problem resolution by facilitating communication between departments, maintaining complete documentation, monitoring deadlines, and giving leadership clear visibility into the status of all active plans. The position is administrative in nature, focusing on process adherence and accountability rather than engineering or technical analysis. Responsibilities • Administer the Problem Resolution Plan (PRP) process to ensure manufacturing issues move through a consistent, structured workflow from input to closure. • Constantly monitor the PRP board for new inputs submitted by Production Coordinators and ensure each input is captured promptly. • Review new PRP inputs to confirm that all required information is complete, accurate, and properly documented. • Identify and determine the appropriate Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) needed to develop effective resolution plans. • Coordinate and gather SMEs to participate in resolution plan creation meetings. • Work with SMEs to define clear resolution steps and assign responsibilities to the appropriate departments or individuals. • Document all resolution steps and target completion dates accurately during plan creation meetings. • Maintain an organized database of active and completed PRPs, ensuring records remain current and easy to reference. • Monitor the progress and completion of each resolution step and update documentation on a near real-time basis. • Track completion dates and follow up consistently with responsible parties to promote timely completion of action items. • Verify that all required documentation and evidence are in place before closing any PRP. • Ensure that all PRPs comply with established procedures and that the communicated PRP structure is followed at all times. • Escalate overdue, stalled, or non-compliant PRPs to leadership when necessary. • Provide leadership with regular status updates on open PRPs, including project progress and any issues impacting timelines. • Maintain comprehensive records related to the PRP process, including historical data and supporting documentation. • Generate weekly and monthly reports summarizing PRP activity, completion rates, and outstanding action items. • Support a culture of accountability by reliably following up on all action items and documenting any missed due dates. • Ensure SMEs are engaged and consulted in a consistent, respectful, and professional manner during plan development. Essential Skills • 1–3 years of administrative experience in a professional environment. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software. • Strong document management skills with the ability to maintain organized, accurate, and up-to-date records. • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and keep them accountable for assigned tasks. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to facilitate clear, respectful communication between departments. • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and consistent process adherence. • Ability to monitor multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously and follow up effectively. • Capability to generate and interpret status and activity reports related to ongoing work. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or engineering. • Experience providing administrative support in a manufacturing, operations, or similar environment. • Comfort working in an administrative role that focuses on process coordination rather than technical or engineering analysis. • Ability to summarize complex workflows into clear status updates and reports for leadership. • Interest in gaining experience in a structured, process-driven environment with opportunities for long-term growth. Work EnvironmentThis role is fully onsite in a manufacturing and warehouse environment, with core work hours typically between 7:00 and 3:30. Most work takes place behind a desk, focusing on monitoring the PRP board, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with stakeholders through office-based tools. The environment combines office-based administrative work with proximity to production operations, offering visibility into manufacturing processes while working primarily in a standard desk and computer setting. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Commerce, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
