Maintenance Technician – 2nd & 3rd Shift Job Description

• Repair and maintain all plant equipment, buildings, and grounds to ensure safe and efficient operation. • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues, with approximately 60% mechanical and 40% electrical work. • Troubleshoot hydraulic systems, including pumps, valves, relief valves, hoses, cylinders, conveyor belts, chains, gears, and motors. • Work with a large number of robots onsite, supporting their mechanical and electrical maintenance needs. • Troubleshoot and repair VFDs, transformers, 480V systems, 240V single-phase, and three-phase power. • Install three-phase electrical systems, including running conduit and pulling wire. • Troubleshoot electrical systems safely up to 480 volts. Qualifications

• At least 4 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or plant environment. • Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in hydraulics and pneumatics. • Proven ability to troubleshoot pumps, valves, relief valves, hoses, cylinders, conveyor belts, chains, gears, and motors. • Electrical experience with 480V and three-phase power systems. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics accurately. Work EnvironmentThe role is based in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility that operates on multiple shifts. This position is for 3rd shift, working Sunday through Thursday from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with current overtime and weekend work, including Saturdays, expected. The environment includes approximately 60 robots and a wide range of industrial equipment such as hydraulic and pneumatic systems, conveyors, motors, and high-voltage electrical components up to 480V. Work is hands-on and physically active, requiring the use of steel-toe footwear and adherence to safety procedures, including OSHA and ANSI standards and lockout/tagout practices. Second and third shifts receive a shift differential, and employees work closely with production teams to maintain continuous operations. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clyde, OH. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $37.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
