Job Title: Plumber ForemanJob DescriptionThe Plumber Foreman is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing systems used for water distribution and wastewater disposal in commercial and industrial buildings. This role oversees plumbing work on new construction projects, ensuring high-quality installations and adherence to blueprints and construction standards. Responsibilities • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures for water distribution and wastewater disposal in commercial and industrial buildings. • Perform PVC, PEX, copper, cast iron, and black iron pipe installations, including rough-in and finish work. • Interpret and work from blueprints to plan and execute plumbing layouts and installations. • Lead and oversee plumbing crews, providing direction and support to team members on commercial construction projects. • Complete rough-in plumbing and finish work for apartment complexes, including underground piping as required. • Set and install toilets, sinks, tubs, and related plumbing fixtures in new construction environments. • Perform soldering and fitting work on various pipe materials using appropriate tools and techniques. • Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete plumbing installations and general labor tasks. • Ensure all work complies with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and properly care for tools and equipment. Essential Skills • At least 5+ years of commercial plumbing experience. • Proficiency in installing and working with PVC, PEX, copper, cast iron, and black iron piping. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints for commercial construction projects. • Experience performing rough-in and finish plumbing work in new construction settings. • Demonstrated lead or foreman experience overseeing plumbing work and guiding crews. • Skilled in soldering and fitting various pipe materials. • Experience setting and installing toilets, sinks, tubs, and other plumbing fixtures. • Comfort working with hand tools and power tools in a construction environment. • Commercial plumbing experience specifically in new construction projects. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Strong understanding of commercial construction practices related to plumbing. • Ability to perform general labor tasks associated with plumbing installations. • Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. • Ability to work from construction plans and coordinate with other trades on site. • Reliable work ethic and ability to work consistently on long-term projects. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Emmaus, PA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
