Job Title: Warehouse AssociateJob DescriptionThe Material Handler will play a crucial role in supporting the warehouse distribution and operations team in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment. Responsibilities • Maintain documentation of all parts and materials moved in accordance with specified operation procedures. • Operate equipment used for material handling such as forklifts, pallet jacks, rolling carts, and wrapping machines. • Store raw materials and finished goods in appropriate locations and provide completed documentation to the Inventory Control Specialist. • Ensure warehouse work areas and other designated areas are maintained in a safe and orderly manner by complying with company standard operating procedures, rules, and regulations. • Transport bulk material to warehousing and production areas as required. • Maintain inventory accuracy by ensuring inventory counts are correct and report inaccuracies immediately to the Inventory Control Specialist. • Perform work according to GMP and ISO guidelines. • Complete training to stay current with job and procedural requirements. Essential Skills • High school diploma or GED preferred. • 1-3 years’ experience with warehousing, manufacturing, inventory, or related functions. • Proficient in ERP software for data entry, part scanning or transacting, printing pick lists or other required documentation. • Forklift Certification required. • Lean 6 Sigma training preferred. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Ability to stand for an 8+ hour shift. • Ability to lift and move 50+ lbs. • Close vision, focus adjustment, and color coding ability. • Good judgment and decision-making ability. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Good math and record-keeping skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Work EnvironmentThe noise level in the work environment ranges from quiet to moderate, but can be moderate to loud on the production or warehouse floor. The facility is climate-controlled with an additional quality room maintaining a temperature of 68 degrees. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Huntersville, NC. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
