Job Title: PipefitterJob DescriptionAs a Pipefitter, you will be involved in copper fitting and installation, including brazing copper and other materials related to HVAC systems. Your role will involve working with refrigerant, gas, and heating systems, and performing HVAC installation tasks. You will also be responsible for reading blueprints and ensuring accurate execution of projects. Responsibilities • Perform copper fitting and brazing for HVAC systems. • Handle refrigerant, gas, and heating system installations. • Carry out HVAC installation tasks with precision. • Read and interpret blueprints for project execution. • Thread and install pipes as required. • Work with VRV and ductless HVAC systems. • Install gas and refrigerant lines efficiently. • Collaborate with team members to complete large-scale projects. Essential Skills • Proficiency in brazing and soldering techniques. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints. • Experience in copper fitting and pipe installation. • Familiarity with 300 Machine and threading techniques. • Knowledge of VRF and VRV systems. • 4-10 years of experience in HVAC pipefitting. Additional Skills & Qualifications • OSHA 30 certification. • SST 10 certification. • F60 certification. • G60 certification. The workday starts at 6:00 am, and you will be part of a team of 10-20 professionals managed by supervisors and foremen. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Mount Vernon, NY. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
