Job Title: Inventory SpecialistJob DescriptionAs an Inventory Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing inventory ahead of order pickers to ensure accurate counts in the management system. You will collaborate with the shipping and receiving team to maintain precise data for the production control and scheduling team. Responsibilities • Manage inventory to maintain accurate counts in the management system. • Work closely with shipping and receiving to ensure data accuracy. • Conduct cycle counts and inventory control. • Assist with kitting, picking, and data entry tasks. • Handle logistics and warehouse inventory management. Essential Skills • Experience in inventory control and cycle counting. • Proficiency in inventory management and material handling. • Strong tenure in previous roles. • Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Preferred experience in warehouse settings. • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and good attendance record. • Willingness to learn and adapt in various facility roles. • Tobacco-free and no visible tattoos on neck or face. Work EnvironmentWork in a climate-controlled, industrial environment that resembles an art museum. The warehouse features approximately 10 workstations, where you will be part of a team working on a production line. Enjoy a clean and enclosed space, with two open shipping and receiving doors on one side. The dress code includes a plain black t-shirt, jeans, and tennis shoes. Shifts are Monday through Friday, with first shift from 6 AM to 2:30 PM and second shift from 2:30 PM to 11 PM. Be prepared for standing 100% of the time and dress comfortably. Breaks include 10 minutes in the morning and afternoon, a 30-minute lunch, and additional breaks when working overtime. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
