Job Title: Manufacturing Technician ($24 - $25 an hour) - 1st Shift Job DescriptionAs a Manufacturing Technician, you perform detailed quality inspections and checks on rework manufacturing items, identify malfunctions and errors on finished products, and carry out mechanical repairs as needed. You use basic hand and power tools, follow clear work instructions, and complete daily quality control checklists to ensure all manufactured items meet required standards.Responsibilities
• Perform quality inspections and quality checks on rework manufacturing items to ensure they meet established standards. • Identify malfunctions, defects, and errors on finished manufacturing items and document findings accurately. • Follow written work instructions and standard operating procedures to complete a daily checklist of quality control checks. • Rework mechanical repairs on manufacturing items, correcting issues and restoring products to acceptable quality. • Identify missing components, parts, or items on products and take appropriate corrective actions. • Use basic hand and power tools safely and effectively during inspection and repair activities. • Support manufacturing assembly and production processes by verifying product quality and readiness. • Collaborate with production and quality teams to maintain consistent quality assurance across all manufacturing items. • Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with manufacturing and safety guidelines. • Adhere to all quality control, quality assurance, and safety procedures within the manufacturing environment. Essential Skills
• Hands-on experience in production or manufacturing environments. • Strong inspection and quality control skills with attention to detail. • Understanding of quality assurance practices within manufacturing. • Experience with manufacturing assembly and manufacturing production processes. • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude for identifying and resolving mechanical issues. • Ability to use and understand basic hand and power tools safely. • Ability to follow detailed work instructions and complete daily quality control checklists. • Capability to identify missing items, errors, and malfunctions on finished products. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Any education related to the manufacturing industry is a plus. • Certifications related to manufacturing or industrial technology are a bonus. • Mechanical repair or rework in a production setting is beneficial. • Experience in climate-controlled manufacturing environments is advantageous. You work on a first shift schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, supporting production and quality operations. The environment includes standard manufacturing equipment, basic hand and power tools, and clearly defined workstations. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
