Maintenance Technician Job Description
• Conduct electrical troubleshooting on systems up to 480V, including 3-phase power, inverters, and related industrial electrical components. • Carry out mechanical troubleshooting on furnaces, sand blasting machines, conveyor systems, pumps, valves, gas burners, cooling water systems, and tube heat exchangers. • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical documentation to identify issues and guide repairs. • Work with robotics equipment, including a Fanuc robot, to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance as needed. • Interact with PLC systems (Mitsubishi PLCs) and assist with troubleshooting and minor adjustments when required. • Travel approximately once per month to customer sites in Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, or North Carolina for day trips, and be available for overnight travel up to 4–5 times per year. Qualifications
• At least 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience for entry range of compensation and 5+ years for higher range. • Strong background in both mechanical and electrical maintenance, with the ability to work in a roughly 50/50 or 60/40 mechanical-to-electrical split. • Hands-on experience performing preventive maintenance and maintenance repair on industrial equipment. • Willingness to travel for day trips approximately once per month and overnight travel up to 4–5 times per year. • Ability to perform troubleshooting and repairs safely in a non-climate-controlled industrial environment. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.$0 deductable healthcare plan.
