Job Title: Assembly TechnicianShifts: Day shift and Swing shift availability

• Days: 6:00am - 2:30pm Monday - Friday • Swing: 2:45pm - 11:15 pm Monday - Friday (Swing shift will receive a 10% differential in pay) Job DescriptionThe Assembly Technician assembles and fits tubing, piping, valves, and other mechanical components according to blueprints, work instructions, and production specifications. This is a hands-on manufacturing role that relies on strong mechanical aptitude, precise measurement skills using tape measures in both fractional and decimal formats, and safe operation of hand and power tools. You will work in a fast-paced production environment, maintaining high-quality standards and collaborating with team members to meet production goals. The role requires close attention to detail, a strong commitment to safety and quality, and prior experience in manufacturing, assembly, construction, automotive, plumbing, or similar mechanical fields. You must be able to lift up to 40 pounds, stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and work overtime or weekends as needed.Responsibilities

• Assemble and fit tubing, piping, valves, and related mechanical components according to blueprints, schematics, and production specifications. • Follow detailed work instructions to build mechanical assemblies accurately and efficiently. • Use tape measures to take precise fractional and decimal measurements and verify component dimensions. • Operate hand tools and power tools safely to cut, drill, fasten, and adjust mechanical parts. • Perform mechanical assembly and pipe fitting tasks with a strong focus on quality and reliability. • Interpret blueprints and schematics to identify parts, assembly steps, and alignment requirements. • Work in a fast-paced production environment to meet daily and weekly output and quality targets. • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow and resolve assembly issues. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleanroom or controlled areas when required. • Inspect assembled components for defects, alignment, and proper operation, and make adjustments as needed. • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines when using hand and power tools and handling materials. • Lift and move materials and assemblies up to 40 pounds and perform repetitive tasks while standing for extended periods. • Support overtime and weekend work as needed to meet production schedules. Essential Skills

• Proven mechanical aptitude and comfort working with mechanical components and assemblies. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics for mechanical and piping assemblies. • Experience performing mechanical assembly and pipe fitting tasks in a production or similar environment. • Proficiency using tape measures and interpreting both fractional and decimal measurements accurately. • Hands-on experience using a variety of hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. • Capability to lift up to 40 pounds, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. • Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions and production specifications. • Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required by production needs. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Background in manufacturing, general labor, assembly, construction, automotive, plumbing, or related mechanical trades. • Experience working in a cleanroom or other controlled production environments. • Familiarity with production workflows and meeting output and quality targets. • Basic understanding of plumbing principles and pipe fitting techniques. • Ability to troubleshoot minor assembly issues and make appropriate adjustments. • Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with production staff. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Nampa, ID. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
