Job Title: Assembly Production AssociateJob DescriptionThis role focuses on setting up, assembling, repairing, testing, and packaging final and sub-assemblies for spray handles and nozzles on an assembly or production line. You will work at your own station to maintain consistent product quality and output while following established procedures in a clean and organized environment.Responsibilities
• Set up workstations and equipment to prepare for assembly and production activities. • Assemble final products and sub-assemblies for spray handles and nozzles according to specifications and work instructions. • Repair assemblies and components as needed to ensure they meet quality standards. • Test completed assemblies to verify proper functionality and performance. • Package final products and sub-assemblies accurately and securely for shipment or further processing. • Maintain required work quality and output at all workstations and along the assembly and production lines. • Work efficiently on assembly lines, production lines, and in warehouse-style environments as needed. • Follow safety guidelines and use proper techniques when lifting, loading, and handling materials. • Perform frequent, repetitive elbow movements associated with assembly and production tasks. • Stand, walk, or sit for up to eight hours during an eight-hour workday, as required by the station and tasks. • Occasionally stoop, bend, lift, and load items weighing up to 40 pounds. • Keep the work area clean, organized, and free from hazards. • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and quality goals. Essential Skills
• Hands-on assembly experience, including working with final and sub-assemblies. • Ability to work on assembly lines and production lines while maintaining consistent output. • Experience in a production or warehouse environment. • Basic soldering skills or familiarity with soldering in an assembly context. • Ability to stand, walk, or sit for up to 8 hours in an eight-hour workday. • Capability to occasionally stoop, bend, lift, and load up to 40 pounds safely. • Comfort with frequent, repetitive elbow movements during assembly and production tasks. • Attention to detail to ensure products meet required quality standards. • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. • Reliability and punctuality to support steady production flow. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Previous experience in assembly production or manufacturing is preferred. • Experience in warehouse, production, or similar industrial settings is beneficial. • Ability to work independently at an assigned station while contributing to overall team goals. • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and adapt to different tasks on the line. Each employee has their own dedicated station, allowing for focused work on assembly and production tasks. The standard schedule runs from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., providing consistent daytime hours. The building is equipped with climate control, including heating and cooling, to help maintain a comfortable environment. Closed-toe shoes are required as part of the safety and dress code. Work involves standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods, as well as occasional lifting and loading of up to 40 pounds in an assembly, production, or warehouse-style setting. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sioux Falls, SD. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
