Construction LaborerJob DescriptionThe role involves completing tasks such as painting, carpentry, electrical work, and basic remodeling. The position requires candidates to perform make-ready duties on trailer homes and modular offices that are rented out for construction sites or other uses. Candidates will work independently and are expected to take ownership of their daily duties.Responsibilities
• Complete painting, carpentry, electrical, and basic remodeling tasks. • Perform make-ready duties on trailer homes and modular offices. • Attend safety meetings and adhere strictly to safety policies. • Participate in daily cleanup and prepare for the day's tasks. • Work independently and manage daily duties effectively. • Adhere to work schedules and occasionally work overtime. Essential Skills
• Experience in drywall installation, roofing, flooring, siding, concrete, or carpentry work. • Proficiency with basic hand tools such as band saws, nail guns, hammers, tape measures, cordless drills, and pliers. • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and read tape measures. • Reliable transportation and willingness to work Monday-Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM. • Must possess steel-toed boots that lace up. • Experience in construction, remodeling, handyman work, or make-ready maintenance is a plus. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pflugerville, TX. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
