What You’ll Do
• Assemble metal hatches and panels using drills, wrenches, screwdrivers, torque tools, and tape measures. • Read and interpret blueprints to complete accurate mechanical builds. • Prepare panels for finishing by installing insulation and hanging panels for painting. • Package completed assemblies, verify order accuracy, and prepare products for shipment. • Cross‑train in multiple departments to expand your skill set and support production needs. • Follow safety procedures and proper tool usage in a metal manufacturing environment. • Maintain a clean, organized workspace similar to an auto body shop. • Lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs as part of daily work. What Makes You a Great Fit
• 6+ months of mechanical assembly experience. • Ability to read blueprints and take precise measurements with a tape measure. • Comfortable using hand and power tools (drills, wrenches, torque tools, etc.). • Reliable, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently once trained. • High school diploma or equivalent. • Experience in automotive, metal fabrication, or similar hands‑on environments is a plus. • Interest in working on unique, high‑profile projects that require craftsmanship. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooklyn Park, MN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
