EVS Technician Location: Golden, COPay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hourSchedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented EVS Technician to support environmental services operations within a healthcare setting. This role is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and sanitary patient rooms while following established infection control and cleaning procedures. The ideal candidate has prior janitorial, housekeeping, or hospital cleaning experience and takes pride in maintaining a clean environment for patients and staff. Responsibilities
• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, offices, and common areas • Follow established cleaning and infection control procedures • Complete room cleaning checklists and documentation accurately • Sweep, mop, wax, and maintain floors using approved equipment and cleaning products • Operate floor care equipment safely and effectively • Restock supplies including tissues, paper towels, and soap • Remove trash and medical waste according to facility guidelines • Clean and sanitize waste containers and disposal areas • Move furniture and equipment as needed • Utilize cleaning chemicals according to safety standards • Provide excellent customer service through professional interactions with patients, visitors, and staff Qualifications Required:
• Minimum 6 months of hospital environmental services, housekeeping, janitorial, or related cleaning experience • High school diploma or equivalent • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong communication and customer service skills Preferred:
• Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting • Experience handling medical waste and infection prevention practices • Experience operating floor care equipment Work Environment
• Healthcare facility setting • Team-oriented environment with supportive leadership • Primary responsibilities involve cleaning and turnover of patient rooms • PPE and work attire provided • Training provided on safety, compliance, chemical handling, and cleaning procedures Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods • Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling • Ability to lift and move cleaning equipment and supplies Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Golden, CO. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
