About this role

Job Title: Sprayer / PainterJob DescriptionJoin a modern manufacturing facility that produces high-quality tables and beds for the wellness industry, including products used in medical offices, hospitals, beauty parlors, and other health and wellness settings. In this role, you perform start-to-finish spray painting and finishing on wood and related components, ensure consistent product quality, and support efficient production in a clean, team-oriented environment.Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with the department team to meet production goals and quality objectives. • Report to work as scheduled and arrive on time to support reliable production operations. • Suggest methods to improve product quality and departmental efficiency. • Keep your work area neat, clean, and well organized at all times. • Identify, separate, and report nonconforming product to the appropriate supervisor. • Maintain personal productivity levels that meet or exceed departmental expectations. • Spray all parts required for manufacturing, including the ability to mix and apply custom stains. • Keep spray guns clean throughout the day to ensure an even, consistent coat of paint or stain. • Perform touch-up work as needed to meet final quality standards. • Inform the mill or upstream production areas of parts needed to maintain workflow. • Set up and operate the hot stamp machine as required for production. • Perform required preventive maintenance on spray equipment and related machinery. • Conduct a thorough final quality inspection on each product before forwarding it to the next department. • Troubleshoot process issues using strong mechanical skills to overcome variables in production. • Monitor stock levels of parts and materials and submit order requests to the warehouse when needed. • Maintain lot control and accurate tracking of parts inventory. • Maintain regular and punctual attendance. • Comply with all company rules, policies, and procedures, including safety, quality standards, department-specific guidelines, and protection of proprietary and confidential information. • Demonstrate professional behavior, integrity, a strong work ethic, and consistently high performance standards. • Follow verbal and written work instructions accurately and completely. • Show willingness to learn new skills and improve existing skills in a culture of continuous improvement. • Work cooperatively with others in a team environment to support smooth production flow. Essential Skills

• Experience with spray painting and staining of parts in a manufacturing or similar environment. • Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively, with air tools considered a plus. • Competence in paint preparation, including mixing custom stains and finishes. • Proficiency with spray guns, including cleaning, maintenance, and adjustment for even coating. • Ability to interpret detailed schematics or drawings; blueprint reading experience is ideal. • Comfort using basic measurement tools such as tape measures to verify dimensions and tolerances. • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to address process and equipment issues. • Ability to follow detailed verbal and written work instructions. • Capacity to maintain productivity while meeting quality standards. • Reliability in attendance and punctuality. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ideally at least 1 year of experience as an assembler or in a related manufacturing role. • Experience working with wood products or in a woodworking or furniture manufacturing environment. • Familiarity with hot stamp machine setup and operation. • Ability to perform preventive maintenance on spray equipment and related machinery. • Strong teamwork and communication skills in a production environment. • Demonstrated willingness to participate in cross-training and learn multiple positions. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Freedom, PA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
