Construction Laborer's Needed $20/hr Nashville! Job DescriptionThis role provides general labor and site cleaning support on a large new construction project, helping maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment through a variety of hands-on tasks.Responsibilities
• Perform general labor duties as needed to support daily construction activities. • Sweep floors and keep work areas free of dust, debris, and hazards. • Pick up trash and dispose of waste materials in designated areas. • Vacuum standing water on the site when it rains to maintain safe walking and working surfaces. • Move construction materials from one location to another as directed by site supervision. • Keep the construction site clean, organized, and free of obstructions throughout the workday. • Follow construction safety procedures and guidelines at all times. • Work comfortably and efficiently on an active new construction job site. • Assist other team members and trades as needed with basic labor and clean-up tasks. Essential Skills
• Experience working as a general laborer on construction job sites. • Ability to perform general labor and cleaning duties, including sweeping, trash removal, and site clean-up. • Comfort working on new construction job sites with active crews and equipment. • Understanding of basic construction safety practices and willingness to follow all safety guidelines. • Ability to move and handle construction materials safely and efficiently. • Reliability in attending scheduled shifts and participating in early morning orientations. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Any OSHA or related safety certifications are a plus. • Experience performing general laborer duties specifically on new construction projects is ideal. • Familiarity with construction clean-up tasks such as sweeping, trash collection, and water removal. • Ability to work additional days per week as the project schedule expands. The environment involves exposure to typical construction conditions, including noise, dust, changing weather, and active equipment, and requires adherence to all site safety rules and appropriate work attire suitable for a construction setting Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
