• $18/hour • Weekly Pay • Great Culture This can start as early as this week!!Job DescriptionThis role involves working on a fast-paced assembly line that produces glass panel doors with blinds sealed between the panes for residential use. You rotate through multiple stations approximately every hour, becoming comfortable with each step of the process. The position requires frequent use of power tools, consistent attention to detail, and the ability to follow established procedures. No prior assembly experience is required, as comprehensive on-the-job training is provided.Responsibilities
• Work on a moving assembly line to produce glass panel doors with integrated blinds according to established specifications and quality standards. • Rotate through multiple assembly stations approximately every hour and learn to perform each station’s tasks confidently and accurately. • Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively as part of the assembly and production process. • Follow all safety guidelines and standard operating procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. • Collaborate with team members, communicate clearly, and support a smooth workflow across all stations. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, promptly addressing any issues that could impact production or safety. Essential Skills
• At least 6 months to a year of manufacturing experience in a production, assembly, or general labor environment. • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform frequent twisting, pushing, and handling of materials throughout the shift. • Comfort working on an assembly line and rotating through multiple stations during the day. • Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. • Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with general production or mechanical assembly tasks. • Strong attention to detail when cleaning, aligning, sealing, and testing glass panels and blinds. • Reliable work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to train and learn new tasks. • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to safety and quality procedures. • Capacity to work full shifts on your feet in a production environment. The environment is not excessively heavy or physically difficult, though it does involve regular twisting, pushing, and handling of glass panels and materials. You use hand tools and power tools as part of your daily tasks and move between stations on the line. The standard shift runs from 6:15 am to 2:45 pm, Monday through Friday. At certain stations, such as glass preparation, you wear a hair net and follow safety and cleanliness requirements to maintain product quality and workplace safety. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Zeeland, MI. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
