General Labor - 2nd Shift Job Description
• Collaborate in teams of 3-4 to complete assembly tasks. • Receive pre-cut wood from the saw room and move it to the designated work area. • Load wood into the laser system for precise assembly. • Select the correct length and cut of wood to match the truss outline. • Join two pieces of wood together with metal plates using a hammer. • Ensure each truss is secure with one to two hammer swings. • Operate a large industrial roller over the truss for additional security. • Turn truss over and apply additional plating and rolling for security. • Move assembled materials to designated areas. Qualifications

Experience working in a leading supplier of trusses and lumber, amidst new facility builds and expansions. Work takes place both indoors and outdoors in a lumber-style yard. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of MILLBURY, OH. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
