Job Title: Forklift OperatorJob DescriptionJoin one of the world's leading agricultural companies as a Forklift Operator, where you'll help farmers feed the world while protecting the planet. This role requires flexibility to work any day of the week, any time of day, for up to 12 hours. You'll be responsible for operating a forklift and performing various manual tasks as needed in a safe and fast-paced environment.Responsibilities
• Professionally operate the forklift with an accident-free record and maintain precise records of forklift inspections. • Systematically maintain and clean the forklift. • Continuously track the location of goods during material handling using the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and ensure accurate data entry. • Perform manual tasks such as sampling, inventory, and cleaning under the direction of the warehouse supervisor or team lead. • Keep the warehouse clean and tidy. • During the seed delivery and return season, ensure proper loading and unloading of transport vehicles with quality packages to meet customer expectations. • Maintain safety standards and initiate emergency procedures when necessary. Essential Skills
• At least 1 year of forklift experience in a production or manufacturing environment. • Ability to count accurately when moving inventory and read scales. • Ability to multi-task and be detail-oriented. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED, or willingness to obtain. • Prior forklift certification is preferred. • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn company systems. • Valid driver’s license required. • Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments under varying conditions. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
