Job Title: Adult Cystic Fibrosis DietitianJob DescriptionThe Adult Cystic Fibrosis Dietitian plays a key role within the Clinical Nutrition team, providing evidence-based, patient- and family-centered nutrition care to adults living with cystic fibrosis. As life expectancy increases for this population, the role focuses on meeting complex and evolving nutritional needs in an outpatient setting. The dietitian collaborates closely with physicians, nurses, social workers, psychologists, and other consulting providers to deliver comprehensive care and support program-wide clinical nutrition initiatives.Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nutritional care to patients in the adult cystic fibrosis outpatient setting, ensuring care is evidence-based and centered on patient and family needs. • Evaluate medical, biochemical, and nutritional information to thoroughly assess patient needs and develop appropriate nutrition care plans. • Implement and adjust nutrition care plans based on ongoing assessment, clinical status, and patient response. • Serve as a proficient resource, mentor, and educator for health care providers, students, community dietitians, and the general public on adult cystic fibrosis nutrition. • Support the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Program by contributing to Clinical Nutrition initiatives that improve professional practice and patient outcomes. • Participate in community-based initiatives related to nutrition and cystic fibrosis to enhance awareness, education, and continuity of care. • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team, including physicians, nurses, social workers, psychologists, and consulting providers, to integrate nutrition care into overall treatment plans. • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nutrition assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards. • Stay current with emerging research, guidelines, and best practices in cystic fibrosis and clinical nutrition, and incorporate them into patient care. Essential Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. • Registration as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration, the credentialing agency of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. • Licensure as a Dietitian by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. • At least 3 years of progressive experience in dietetics, including a minimum of 2 years in pediatric nutrition. • Demonstrated ability to assess complex medical, biochemical, and nutritional data to develop and implement appropriate nutrition care plans. • Strong clinical skills in managing nutrition care for specialized and niche adult populations. • Ability to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team. • Excellent communication and teaching skills for educating healthcare providers, students, community dietitians, and the public. • Organizational and documentation skills to manage outpatient caseloads and maintain detailed records. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working with adult cystic fibrosis patients is strongly preferred. • Experience in nutrition care for very niche adult populations. • Comfort working alongside physicians, nurses, social workers, psychologists, and multiple consulting providers. • Experience supporting clinical nutrition and community-based initiatives to improve professional practice. • Ability to serve as a mentor and resource for students and less experienced dietitians. • Interest in staying current with evolving standards of care in cystic fibrosis and clinical nutrition. • Knowledge of related clinical areas such as pharmacy and oncology is beneficial. Work EnvironmentThis role is based in an outpatient adult cystic fibrosis setting within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment. The schedule follows a Monday through Friday, 8-hour shift structure. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement, with approximately three days in the office and two days remote each week. The dietitian works closely with physicians, nurses, social workers, psychologists, and other consulting providers, contributing to a supportive and team-oriented culture focused on high-quality, evidence-based patient care.Experien Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Boston, MA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
