Job SummaryYou will serve as a TRAINING SPECIALIST (BMD) in the BALLISTIC MISSILE DEFENSE of TACTRAGRULANT.

QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience leading the planning, development, and execution of complex military training programs, particularly in a joint or maritime environment. This includes designing training scenarios, coordinating large-scale exercises, and developing academic curriculum. Experience applying expert knowledge of Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) operations, tactics, and doctrine. This experience must include integrating BMD concepts into synthetic wargame environments and training events. Experience applying a comprehensive understanding of Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) is non-negotiable. The position's primary function (50% of duties) is to serve as the principal specialist for all aspects of BMD training. The incumbent must be able to immediately step into a leadership role in the planning and execution of complex BMD exercises (BMDEXs). Experience in the full lifecycle of military training, from curriculum development to the execution and assessment of synthetic wargame events. Familiarity with simulators such as the Joint Semi-Automated Forces (JSAF) is critical. Major DutiesYou will coordinate all aspects of the command’s ballistic missile defense (BMD) training efforts.You will advise the BMD Module Head (O-5) and the Director of Operations and Training (O-6) on all issues related to BMD training, mentoring, assessing, synthetic wargame development and execution.You will serve as the command’s principal Training Specialist for all BMD aspects of planning, coordination and execution of Ballistic Missile Defense Exercises (BMDEXs).You will also coordinate warfare curriculum development and execution utilizing synthetic war-gaming software (e.g. JSAF) for synthetic events/exercises.You will represent the command’s BMD Module during all applicable conferences, meetings, teleconferences and video teleconferences.You will review and provide inputs to all BMD-related official correspondence, messages, and documents, to include annual Officer Fitreps and Enlisted Evaluations for those subordinates assigned to the BMD Module.
