Responsibilities Develop and maintain data pipelines and backend services using Java 21 , Python , and Go . Implement ELT processes and manage data integrations from diverse source systems into a data lake and data warehouse. Build and maintain core backend APIs that power the central content platform. Collaborate with solution architects to define technical choices and expand the platform architecture. Ensure the quality, performance, and scalability of data-driven solutions. Participate actively in an Agile/Scrum environment, contributing to code reviews and technical documentation. Requirements You have 5+ years of experience in software development and data engineering within complex or large-scale projects. You possess 3+ years of experience in backend development using Java , Python , or Go . You bring 3+ years of experience working with AWS Services such as Lambda , SQS , EventBridge , Aurora PostgreSQL , and DynamoDB . You have 1+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code using AWS CloudFormation and DevOps principles. You bring experience working with Content Management Systems (CMS) . You possess experience working in an Agile/Scrum team. You're a communicative team player with an open-minded and inquisitive approach to technical challenges. You are fluent in Dutch at a C2 level. Nice to Haves Experience with Quarkus and event-driven architecture within microservices . Knowledge of Docker , CI/CD pipelines, and Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration. Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or Prepr . Familiarity with design patterns such as Observer , Strategy , and Chain of Responsibility . Prior professional experience within the media industry.
