Job description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer with 8+ years of proven expertise in designing, developing, and delivering scalable Java/Python-based applications on AWS. This role focuses on building next-generation Agentic AI solutions while contributing to high-impact, cloud-native platforms at Experian.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain Agentic AI modules using Python and MCP, integrating seamlessly with existing enterprise services.Build and deliver robust, scalable applications using Java, Python, and AWS cloud services.Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement timely, high-quality fixes.Ensure application performance, reliability, quality, and responsiveness across systems.Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code aligned with engineering best practices.Conduct thoughtful peer code reviews and enforce coding standards.Contribute to architecture, system design, and estimation discussions.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, Product, and UX.Work with relational (Aurora MySQL) and NoSQL databases to design efficient data solutions.Leverage AWS services such as S3, SQS, SNS, ECS, EMR, and related tools.Drive improvements in CI/CD pipelines, frontend performance, accessibility, and build systems.Mentor engineers and foster a strong engineering culture focused on quality and innovation.Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and continuous improvement.Required Skills & Qualifications:
8+ years of software engineering experience with strong proficiency in Java and Python (Preferred).Hands-on experience with AWS cloud ecosystem and distributed systems.Experience building scalable, high-performance applications and microservices.Strong understanding of system design, debugging, and performance optimization.Experience with modern development practices, CI/CD, and DevOps methodologies.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
