About this role
The Payroll Tax Analyst role assists our business clients to remain compliant with payroll tax agencies (unemployment insurance, state income taxes and local income taxes) in all 50 states and territories. You will:Work both independently and collaborate with teammates to create efficiencies with state and local payroll tax agency submission and follow upCommunicate with state payroll tax agencies on behalf of multiple clients and projectsCoordinate project data and follow up with clients.Handle quick and accurate completion of government forms, talking to state agency representatives, and handling rate transfersWork with a dynamic prioritization list based on client needs, agency responses, and new project workflowManage risk in a thoughtful, wise, and logical mannerEvaluate and assess the program strengths and weaknesses in an evolving environmentPrepare and submit forms to the relevant payroll tax agencies.You will report to the Tax Manager Experience in payroll tax filing issues and resolutionExperience registering, filing, resolution for payroll tax accounts across multiple statesCustomer service experience.Experience dealing with dated material and strict adherence to deadlinesMust be comfortable balancing multiple tasks, taking ownership of work, and setting priorities.Must be comfortable adjusting priorities in a fast‑moving, changing work environment.Benefits/Perks:
