IMMEDIATE HIRING!!! MACHINE OPERATOR II-$23/HR. Job DescriptionAs a Machinist II, you will operate CNC Haas Mills, Robo drills, and work with Fanuc controls. You will be responsible for machine changeovers, setting up 3 axis CNC machines, ensuring the correct program runs without error for the next production run, and adjusting fixtures. You will also conduct tool touch-offs and load parts using a wrench to secure fixtures into t-plates. Experience in a manufacturing environment with CNC machine operation is essential.Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Haas Mills, Robo drills, and Fanuc controls. • Perform machine changeovers and set up 3 axis CNC machines. • Ensure the correct program is running without error for the next production run. • Insert and adjust fixtures and conduct tool touch-offs. • Load parts and use a wrench to bolt down fixtures into t-plates. • Utilize properly calibrated precision measuring instruments such as calipers, depth gauges, thread gauges, pin gauges, and other measuring tools. Essential Skills

• Experience with CNC mill, vertical milling machines, and machine operation. • Skill in CNC setup and operation of 3 axis machines. • Proficiency in operating Haas mills and understanding lean manufacturing principles. • Experience with inspection and dimensional inspection. • Ability to use calipers and depth gauges. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to read and write at a high school level or equivalent to comply with written instructions and complete departmental paperwork. • One year of experience in performing machine operation with a HAAS CNC preferred or relevant experience. • Basic math skills. • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Lean Six Sigma principles. A sign-on bonus is provided, with $250 after 90 days and another $250 after 6 months. The facility offers a virtual tour to give prospective employees a sense of the workplace. The schedule includes working close to 50 hours regularly, with optional work available on Saturdays. The work setting is production-oriented and repetitive, which can be challenging but also rewarding when faced with tough setups or creating quality parts. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of San Diego, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.75 - $23.75/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
