Hiring for Warehouse Associates pays up to $18/hr.Job DescriptionThe Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of all warehouse activities at the facility, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, shipping, safety, and workforce management. This role drives operational efficiency, maintains service level commitments to customers, and ensures compliance with OSHA and company safety standards. The Operations Manager plays a key role in scaling the facility as the company expands product lines.Responsibilities
• Direct daily warehouse operations across receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping functions. • Manage labor planning, shift scheduling, and workload balancing to meet throughput targets. • Monitor and drive KPIs including units per hour, order accuracy, dock-to-stock time, and on-time shipping rate. • Oversee MaddenCo and RT Systems configuration, workflow optimization, and system issue resolution. • Coordinate container scheduling, carrier appointments, and outbound logistics. • Own facility safety program including OSHA compliance and emergency action planning. • Conduct safety audits, incident investigations, and root cause analysis. • Ensure all associates maintain current equipment certifications (clamp trucks, forklifts, order pickers). • Manage DOT code compliance, tire aging protocols, and product quality standards. • Maintain safety documentation including training records, inspection logs, and incident reports. • Recruit, onboard, and train warehouse staff using the 90-day structured training program. • Conduct performance reviews (90-day, annual) and administer performance improvement plans as needed. • Develop shift supervisors and team leads through coaching, mentoring, and progressive responsibility. • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and safety awareness. • Oversee inventory accuracy through cycle count programs, variance analysis, and root cause resolution. • Manage SKU catalog integrity. • Ensure FIFO rotation by DOT manufacture date and compliance. • Direct disposition of damaged, defective, and expired product. • Support network expansion planning and new facility setup. • Evaluate and recommend equipment purchases, lease renewals, and capital expenditures. • Manage facility maintenance, vendor relationships, and service contracts. • Prepare operational reports, budget forecasts. Essential Skills
• Experience in tire distribution, automotive aftermarket, or specialty logistics. • Familiarity with agricultural equipment or rubber track products. • Experience with multi-site warehouse operations. • OSHA 30-Hour General Industry certification. • Six Sigma, Lean, or continuous improvement certification. • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or related field (or equivalent experience). • Skills in production, leadership communication, supervision, warehouse management, logistics, inventory control, and supply chain. The shift is from 7 AM to 4 PM. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anderson, SC. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
