Job Title: Die Maintenance TechnicianJob DescriptionText Carson ***513-702-3886**The Die Maintenance Technician maintains, repairs, and improves production dies to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing. This role focuses on preventing die-related issues, responding quickly to emergency breakdowns, and executing preventive maintenance to support consistent productivity and product quality.Responsibilities

• Apply appropriate corrective actions when die breakage or other problems occur and implement measures to prevent these issues from recurring. • Execute preventive maintenance on dies to support production of quality products and increase overall productivity. • Utilize inspection lists to perform die receiving inspections and document findings accurately. • Improve or repair equipment when emergency machine breakage occurs, minimizing downtime. • Repair dies according to instructions provided by supervisors and leadership. • Report all problems, abnormalities, and safety concerns to supervisors in a timely manner. • Maintain a continuous focus on identifying problems and actively work to increase technical skills and knowledge. • Check maintenance equipment and tools prior to starting work to ensure they are in safe and proper working condition. • Perform all other tasks as assigned by Team or Group Leaders to support maintenance and production operations. • Participate in 5S activities, including a 10-minute clean-up at the end of each shift, to maintain an organized and efficient work area. • Conform to all company safety policies and OSHA safety requirements while performing all tasks. • Follow all tasks in a quality-focused and detail-oriented manner to ensure reliable and consistent results. • Operate and handle air tools and other special tools safely and correctly according to repair needs. • Perform heat treatment on dies or components as required by repair specifications. • Master the usage of die equipment and understand process conditions to support proper maintenance and operation. • Apply knowledge of die structures, die designs, and maintenance manuals when diagnosing issues and performing repairs. • Use lathes, mills, and grinders to perform precision machining and finishing work on dies and components. • Follow proper lifting techniques and safe material-handling practices during all maintenance activities. • Cooperate with colleagues and work effectively within a strong team environment. Essential Skills

• Experience in die maintenance and die repair within a manufacturing environment. • Hands-on experience with tool and die work and mechanical maintenance. • Experienced TIG welding skills, including the ability to perform quality welds on die components. • Previous mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment. • Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical functions. • Knowledge of die structure and how it relates to function and performance. • Troubleshooting experience for diagnosing and resolving die and equipment issues. • Ability to operate and handle air tools and other special tools safely. • Ability to perform heat treatment according to repair needs. • Ability to master the usage of die equipment and understand process conditions. • Good understanding of structures and uses for maintenance parts and tools. • Knowledge of die designs and the ability to interpret maintenance manuals. • Previous experience using lathes, mills, and grinders. • Ability to follow proper lifting techniques and safe work practices. • Willingness to cooperate and work in a strong team environment. The position offers multiple shifts: a 1st shift schedule of Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. with a 45-minute lunch, and a 3rd shift schedule of Sunday through Thursday from 7:30 p.m. to 4:15 a.m. with a 45-minute lunch. Some weekend work and possible overtime may be required. You will work around production machinery and maintenance equipment, including dies, air tools, lathes, mills, grinders, and TIG welding equipment. The environment follows OSHA safety requirements and emphasizes proper lifting techniques, safe tool use, and adherence to safety procedures. The facility supports 5S practices, including a dedicated clean-up period at the end of each shift to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace. Appropriate work attire and personal protective equipment are required to ensure safety while performing maintenance tasks. Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Fairfield, OH. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
