NOW HIRING: Manufacturing Associate (2nd Shift) Job DescriptionAs a Manufacturing Associate, you support the production of precision rubber seals by performing hands-on tasks such as trimming, inspecting, molding, and applying adhesive. You work with small parts, follow established procedures, and operate machinery in a clean, safe, and highly organized manufacturing environment.Responsibilities

• Trim excess rubber from parts to meet quality and dimensional specifications. • Inspect parts carefully for defects and ensure they meet visual and functional standards. • Apply glue into grooves of parts using small brushes with steady hands and strong attention to detail. • Perform molding operations to form rubber components according to production requirements. • Handle small parts accurately and consistently throughout the production process. • Use hand tools safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks. • Operate machinery in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines. • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) at all times. • Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safety and product quality. • Stand or sit for extended periods while performing repetitive production tasks. • Collaborate with team members and communicate any issues with parts, equipment, or processes to the appropriate personnel. Essential Skills

• At least 6 months of manufacturing experience preferred. • Experience working with small parts in a production or manufacturing setting. • Ability to use hand tools safely and accurately. • Strong attention to detail for inspecting parts and applying glue precisely. • Capability to operate manufacturing machinery following instructions and safety rules. • Ability to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). • Comfort with standing and/or sitting for long periods while performing repetitive tasks. • Reliability and consistency in meeting quality and productivity expectations. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in general labor, general production, or manufacturing environments. • Familiarity with molding processes or rubber-related manufacturing is a plus. • Experience working in a structured environment with documented procedures (GMP/SOP). • Ability to work effectively on a 2nd shift schedule. • Strong manual dexterity and fine motor skills for handling small components and using small brushes. The facility is a large, open manufacturing setting that focuses on producing rubber seals, primarily for aerospace applications. The site includes a machine shop, molding area, bonding area with machine presses, and warehouse operations. You work around production machinery and small parts in a very safe and clean environment that follows Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures. You can expect to stand or sit for long periods while performing repetitive tasks in a structured, process-driven setting alongside other shift team members. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of San Diego, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
