Salary: £38,000 - 45,000 per year
Requirements: Commercial experience in full-stack software development.Strong experience with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.Experience developing modern, responsive web applications.Experience with a modern front-end framework such as React, Angular or Vue.js.Understanding of RESTful APIs and secure client-server communication.Experience working with relational databases and database schemas.Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to work independently and use your own initiative.Good written and verbal communication skills.Experience with any of the following would be advantageous: .NET Core / ASP.NET Web API, Microsoft Azure, SQL Server, MySQL or PostgreSQL, Node.js or Python, AWS, Docker / containerisation, automated testing and CI/CD, data analytics or machine learning, Internet of Things (IoT) technologies and applications.A strong front-end developer with an interest in expanding into full-stack development will also be considered. Responsibilities: Design, develop and maintain modern, responsive web applications.Build intuitive and user-friendly front-end interfaces.Contribute to back-end services and RESTful APIs.Develop and maintain relational database schemas.Implement secure communication between clients and servers.Work with developers, engineers and end users to understand application requirements.Test software and contribute to automated testing processes.Investigate and resolve software defects.Deploy fixes, upgrades and new software functionality.Identify and address potential security vulnerabilities.Carry out quality assurance and ensure development standards are maintained.Maintain technical and product documentation.Collaborate with the wider development team and share knowledge and best practices.Use customer feedback to improve functionality and user experience.Contribute ideas for new projects, technologies and improvements.
