Salary: £51,000 - 63,000 per year
Requirements: Significant experience across at least two of the following areas, with deep expertise in one: High Performance Computing (HPC), Linux systems administration, enterprise storage platforms, high performance networking, interactive computing environments, GPU-enabled infrastructure, scientific or research computingExperience leading technical projects or workstreamsExperience solving complex infrastructure challengesExperience communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersExperience producing technical documentation and delivering trainingExperience translating user requirements into scalable technical solutions Responsibilities: Develop and maintain large-scale research computing infrastructureSupport HPC environmentsManage enterprise storage and associated servicesWork closely with researchers to understand requirements and develop effective solutionsContribute to infrastructure design, roadmaps and future platform developmentLead technical workstreams and small project teams when requiredProduce technical documentation, guidance and training materialsWork collaboratively with internal teams and external technology partnersContribute to research and funding initiatives where appropriate Technologies: AISupportLinuxDevOps More:

This is a 12-month fixed term contract based in Hampshire on the South Coast, with hybrid working and one day onsite per week.
